For Christmas this year, my sister-in-law suggested a gratitude box to give to the grandparents. Our family has had so many ups and downs over the years, it was difficult to write a lifetime of gratitudes in just a letter. In order to avoid the tears, let’s say I never got around to writing or submitting the letter.
After many days of procrastinating, words still are not flowing as I have used the delete button more than the letter keys.
I am going to use the old chinese proverb, “A picture paints a thousand words.”

Darryl wrote me a 36 item Christmas list. Item number 23 was a Jack Russell companion. We told him we were going Christmas shopping to Ikea… yeah right on a Saturday! So we drove about 40 minutes and we were greeted by several Jack Russells. Darryl got a strange smirk on his face and realized that he had been had by his famous “Christmas Secret” game. We had many puppies to choose from… he choose the little girl that chewed on his shoe laces!

The rain didn’t keep from getting great shots of Jessy!! I told her if she wanted to bring an umbrella we could go outside!! ….and she did!!

Cori and I met at Pyramid Hill Sculpture park to take her senior portraits. The leaves were at their peak and the natural light was amazing. The sun went down just in time to head back to my indoor studio.
Cori and I had fun using her ice skates as props.
